It's the 1st day of hurricane season 😬
Receiving notes from students after a visit always makes my day 🥰 #grateful authoirlife #kidlitauthor #schoolvisits
International Biodiversity Day was yesterday & I would be remiss not to share that #Colombia is the 2nd most biodiverse country in the world (1st by sq kilometer). It has an incredible diversity of landscapes as well. But its beautiful biodiversity is at risk from human impact.
Independent Bookstore Day is this Saturday, & it's the perfect excuse to #shoplocal! If you purchase The Enchanted Life of Valentina Mejía on 4/29 from any of these awesome indie bookstores, you can receive a signed bookplate and/or bookmark (while supplies last)!
