Recently, in talking about my books to someone locally, I noted how all of my books touch on kindness in some way and as I said it, I realized just how true this is. Kindness extended to others, whether human or animal, becomes a bridge between people and a way to build or mend relationships. Kindness. Grace. Love. For some, like LUPITA’S HURRICANE PALOMITAS, kindness becomes a way to navigate strong emotions. Tomorrow I’ll be at @venturexpb ‘s Vendor’s Market from 10-2! It’s a great place for family fun and to shop small and local. A little belated because…life. But I’m so honored to share that GROW UP, LUCHY ZAPATA received the bronze medal in the 2025 International Latino Book Awards for Best Chapter Fiction Book.
